Part 1 of meeting my Finnish penpal here
Part 2 of meeting my Finnish penpal here

When we were in Florida meeting Selja and Marko, we ate the most delicious southern bread pudding at a restaurant called Crackers.  It was seriously THE BEST bread pudding I have ever had.  Since we have been home for a few weeks, I’ve talked non-stop about finding a similar recipe and trying to make it.  Lucky for me (and you), I found a similar recipe and found it to be just as delicious and quite easy to make!  We’ll definitely be re-visiting this recipe again when friends visit! ♥

This recipe tastes even better as left overs and was delicious with a little bit of vanilla ice cream.  One morning I ate it for breakfast after I put in in the microwave and I put a little bit of milk in the bottom…delicious!

Be sure to pin below if you’d like to try this sometime! 🙂

We went to eat in Marietta Square when my dad was here and they were giving everyone in the restaurant a free bread pudding that night. It was our first time having it and we loved it!

I can totally relate! Once in awhile I’ll have something that is soooo good, I can’t go on until I get the recipe for it or try to replicate it myself. Bread pudding is one of my faves! I have to brace myself around it though because I consider it very rich. A little bit goes a long way. This recipe looks super de-lish! I’ll have to try it for the holidays!

You will have to tell me what you end up thinking of it! Bread pudding is a favorite of mine as well because I tend to like very rich sweets. Sounds like we have a similar palette 🙂
