quarter 3 | goals 2018

July 1, 2018growth

My quarter 3 goals are very basic.  I want the house to be in better shape than now and I want to invest in myself as much as I can.

When we found out I was pregnant, I was feeling pretty awesome until 6.5 weeks.  I’ll be 16 weeks this Friday, but I’m still vomiting regularly.  I’m optimistic I will get that awesome surge of energy soon like everyone talks about and I can hit these goals and some more 🙂 .

  • Clean and organize all that I can

Become healthier

  • Start a daily walking routine
  • Continue going to therapy/ endo appointments

Learn more

  • Read the scriptures
  • Read church talks
  • Read books

  • Create three videos on youtube (book reviews, travel, or my word of the year updates)
  • Evaluate my blogging services that I use and decide which ones to keep/cut

Review on my 2nd quarter goals:

Simplify our home

  • Finish decluttering all the closets in our house
  • Buy a spring/summer wardrobe that requires no layering
I bought three shirts that are longer and a little bit bigger than I normally buy to get through summer/ my second trimester.
  • Purge more clothing as needed
  • Start cleaning out the garage

Become healthier

  • Continue with Weight Watchers
  • Go to Weight Watchers meetings at least twice a month
I had to quit Weight Watchers when I found out that I was pregnant.
  • Continue going to therapy/ endo appointments

Learn more

  • Read the scriptures
  • Read church talks
  • Read books
I ended up reading 7 books.
  • Finish my continuing education classes for my teaching license
I finished up class 3 and 4.  I am finishing up my 5th class this week and then I’ll be submitting my stuff ASAP.
  • Submit my information to have my teaching license continued
    I will do that ASAP.

Share/make content that means something to someone

  • Create three videos on youtube (book reviews, travel, or my word of the year updates)
I posted the video where I announced to Devin!  I hope to get into a better routine with this though after I get over the nausea.
  • Become more comfortable in front of a camera and post more pictures with myself
I have been posting more pictures with me.

Learn to really love Georgia

  • See 3+ places in Georgia with Devin to help ourselves feel more at home.
We went to the Georgia guidestones!  We need to visit a lot more.
