9 perfect gifts for book lovers

December 12, 2016books
These are 9 great gifts to give to your favorite bookworm who loves all things cozy. Pin now, read later. | via Autumn All Along

Buying gifts for people seriously puts me in panic mode.  Receiving gifts from people is almost just as bad.  Are they going to take this present as being the pure symbolism of our friendship or are they going to feel awkward when there isn’t a reciprocal present?  These are all some of the things that go through my head during gift giving times.  I am learning that it is possible to make gift gifting too complicated 😉 ; this is the world I’ve lived in the last few years.  Lucky for you though, I sat down and wrote down 9 perfect gifts for book lovers that I would love myself as a 20 something book worm.

  1. A BOOK SHIRT
I love this Harry Potter shirt that I saw when we were in Harry Potter’s section of Disney World last month.  However, if your booklover isn’t into the guy with a lightning scar, maybe they are into Dune or another personal favorite: Jane Austen.

  2. A NICE CANVAS TOTE
I like a room bag that is both washable, sturdy, and has the ability to carry my kindle and a book and this one is it!  I love how this particular bag won’t clash with your favorite book cover and it will easily be carried on your shoulder or in your hand.

  3. A SNUGGLE THROW
Guilty of being a creature of habit, I love snuggling up in a blanket when I’m reading like this one in a beautiful rose color.  Even when it is summer time, the perfect accessory to reading is still a blanket.

  4. HOT COCOA
I like to have a full mug of hot cocoa when I’m reading and I especially love the Starbucks hot cocoa powder.  It is a great shape for a Christmas gift exchange- I bet it would be pretty hard to guess!

  5. A BOOK COFFEE MUG
Well, you have to have a cute mug for that hot cocoa ðŸ˜‰ .

  6. A BOOK LOCKET
For your book lovers that love nostalgia as much as I do, they would love this gold book locket.  Don’t have a loved one to stick in the locket?  I highly recommend Eddy Redmayne from Fantastic Beasts haha!

  7. FUZZY SLIPPERS
My husband would highly appreciate if I started using these cute slippers since it means I’ll stop sticking my cold feet on him after I’ve been on a book binge.  I love that they come in gray because then they would match whatever I’m wearing around the house at the time.

  8. DIGITAL INK KINDLE
I don’t see how people read on devices without digital ink??  We were actually gifted two different Kindles with digital ink by people who upgraded to newer tablets and it was probably the nicest gift we’ve received!  I’ve used them for years and I’ve never had eye strain despite hours of straight reading.  They are also surprisingly really affordable for what they are.  Bonus: most libraries have a digital download section and it means no late fees ever again!

  9. BATH BOMB
I love to relax in the bath and read a book.  However, bubbles don’t do because it is easy to get everything covered in bubbles.  This bath bomb smells wonderful and might make you feel like you’re trying to figure out a Polyjuice Potion.

I think these are perfect gifts for book loves, but are there any suggestions you’d like to throw in there?  You’re welcome to get me any of the above 😉 .
