We spent the weekend going strawberry picking in Georgia at LCCL Strawberry Farm. I thought the drive up was so beautiful and I loved that they had a cute little train for little ones to take! This is a great you pick’em farm with a little shop for you to pick up pies and other goodies 🙂 . We will definitely be visiting again!
I was shocked to find that Devin had never been strawberry picking (I broke him in for apple picking too!!). My first job was picking berries at a you pick ’em farm. A lot of times, people would want berries already picked and so I would get a 5 AM call and my Mom would drive me over to the farm. I was an excellent employee for berry picking because I don’t loooove berries. I know, right?! Food texture issues. Well, the great news? My husband loves them and he pretty much had the time of his life picking.

We quickly filled up our buckets to take home and I am definitely day dreaming about making homemade jams. It looks like Devin and I need to go to some more festivals and farms this summer and fall though; I’m looking forward to it!
